The largest independent concrete manufacturer in the UK contacted Powerhire for the provision of a temporary generator to power their newly extended batching plants at one of their sites in Kent due to insufficient mains power.
This well-known concrete brand has a combined resource of 19 quality controlled operational plants across the South East of England with their fleet of truck mixers and annual production capacity exceeding 500,00m3. At this specialist production facility in Kent a wide range of ready-mixed concrete and floor screeds are manufactured and supplied to the construction industry, from standard to high performance mixes and with a steady flow of investment the sites expansion had been projected.
So when their requirement was received for a temporary generator to power this plant expansion for an interim period to enable them to continue to meet consumer demands, whilst waiting for additional mains power, we were only too happy to be able to help once again.
Having worked with this Company on numerous occasions for over ten years, when they contacted our Technical Sales Manager for what the temporary generator was required to power at the new batching plant he was able to specify the most economic and efficient generator until mains power was increased.
Powerhire subsequently delivered the 500kVA temporary generator power to site on the scheduled date as agreed with the client.
