With over a decade’s worth of experience in providing generator power to this award winning property developer, Powerhire’s Technical Sales Manager was once again contacted for the provision of generator power for yet another one of their developments in East London, near Stratford.

The new proposed project close to Westfield in the post-Olympic regeneration area will consist of 471 new residential apartments and 944 sqm of commercial space along the Penny Brookes Street as well as a nursery. The design of the homes is a contemporary reinterpretation of the London ‘mansion block’, wrapped around a sequence of squares and courtyards with the intention of a great family vibe.

The structures themselves are generally going to be 6 to 8 storeys high and comprise three main structures, two large quadrangle buildings facing the Road boundary either side of the principle site and a third ‘U’ shaped building to the rear of the site wrapping around the large square landscaped park in the centre.

With generator power already set up across several East London sites under construction, for this developer and several others, it was easy for our Sales Manager to establish the most suitable generator power for the client once informed of the number of hoists, tower cranes and site offices which would require power.

Our Logistics Team delivered the first of two 150kVA generators to site early April 2016 which will be followed by an additional 4 x 250kVA generator sets periodically throughout the coming months as scheduled in accordance with the client’s requirements.

All six sets providing generator power to site are anticipated to be there for approximately 60 weeks with our Service Engineers visiting site every 8 to 10 weeks to service the generators, ensuring their efficiency for the duration of the rental period.
