2 x 250kVA & 2 x 200kVA Generator Rental Package
With the progression of the second phase of a colossal six-hectare East London development, Powerhire were asked to provide the next stage of the generator rental package as the residential build continues up and across the construction site’s massive expanse.
With residential construction in full swing in East London, this regular client of Powerhire’s continues to deliver on their promise of increasing the housing capacity in London over the next 5 years to combat the current shortage.
The construction of the first phase of this project included the build of 173 homes, a small supermarket and a ten-storey local landmark building. This next phase, at the heart of the post -Olympic regeneration area, consists of an additional 471 affordable, family and disabled residential apartments. The development will also include commercial space for smaller businesses and 
local shops as well as a linear park arrangement consisting of a series of linked green spaces which will run through the centre of the neighbourhood.
The additional generator rental package was for the provision of 4 generators together with a fuel tank each to power 2 more cranes and 2 further hoists as the 6-8 storey high apartment grows taller and spans further across the site linking the existing and new construction phases 
within the overall development.
Our Logistics Team delivered the first of the fuel tanks and 250kVA at the end of February and the further generator rental package has been ordered on a call off basis and which the Rental Co-ordinator will despatch to site when the Site Manager has the specific dates for the generators required as the additional construction equipment arrives onsite.
All 6 sets currently onsite as well as the 3 due to arrive, will be serviced every 500 hours to ensure their efficiency by our Engineers throughout the duration of the rental period.
