We had the pleasure of working alongside one of our long standing customers for this ultimate event for electronic music fans. New to the Powerhire calendar for 2018, the five-time award winning dance music show, We Are FSTVL has grown year upon year, proving itself as one of the biggest players on the dance festival circuit since its inception in 2013 and creating an unrivalled festival experience. We Are FSTVL continue to grow, combining innovative stage designs and mind-blowing production with a varied mix of genres from across the dance music spectrum.
Taking place on a 122 acre former WWI Air Base in Upminster, Essex We Are FSTVL is one of the UK’s premier dance music festivals, showcasing a top-tier line-up of house, techno, drum and bass and more mainstream dance playing host to over 300 acts across 30 arenas over 3 days. With the iconic 450ft long Terminal 1 stage witnessing heavyweight trio Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, and Marco Carola playing together on the same stage in the UK for the first time ever.
As this was a new festival for us, our sales director sat down with the production manager of Innovation Power to discuss the power needs for the site. Due to the extent of the site, it was agreed that we would provide 21 event generators ranging from 60kVA to 500kVA and 20 x 1000, 2000 and 3000 litre fuel tanks.
As with all our projects, the kit was fully serviced and cleaned prior to the delivery to site by our logistics team on our own fleet of Hiab lorries and positioned as illustrated by the site plans, ready for installation by others.
After an epic 3 days of sunshine, music and dancing sadly this dance spectacular had to come to an end. In the quiet misty morning after sunshine our logistics team were back to collect the kit to turn around ready for the next event. We’re already signed up for the early bird tickets for 2019!
