Rental Generator Service Engineer

JOB TITLE: Rental Generator Service Engineer
DIVISION:   Powerhire
LOCATION: Dover, Kent
REPORTABLE TO: Service Manager
HOURS: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

We are looking for an additional Service Engineer with a ‘can-do’ attitude to join our Powerhire Rental team. You will undertake installation and maintenance of our fleet of generators both within the workshop and on customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of our fleet of generators both within the workshop and on our customer sites
• Testing and certification of electrical distribution equipment  Generator fleet fault finding and repairs      Maintain and repair cable.
• Part of the company on call rota
• Attend breakdowns

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Desirable qualification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering ( 18^th edition )
• Full drivers licence is required
• Be competent with IT
• Have good time management and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service skills and “can do” attitude
• Experience with LV switchboards would be advantageous
• ECS / CSCS on site qualifications desirable
