Tragically, following a harsh winter, the site’s mains power had disappeared with a landslide off the cliff face so they needed temporary generator power to keep the Park’s administration building ticking over ready for the beginning of the season.
As the Park had not officially opened at this stage, Powerhire’s solution was the supply of a small 100kVA temporary generator together with fuel tank hire to run the offices and a couple of the staff static caravans.
With holiday season fast approaching and plenty of bookings to organise, maintenance to carry out and a huge spring clean to undertake to guarantee the Park would retain it’s 4*quality rating on trip advisor, the Facilities Manager once again called upon Powerhire’s services. With the site’s heated indoor, outdoor & spa pool complex, entertainment centres, eateries & bars as well as all the onsite caravans further temporary generator power was inevitable. Powerhire recommended and supplied an additional 200kVA temporary generator as well as another fuel tank with both temporary generators running on full load.
Mains power was finally up and running at this prized Park Resorts Holiday Park by the middle of April and relocated back from the temporary generator without any disruption to the already numerous holiday makers.
